The Way Practice Mode Work

I use Practice Mode all the time when I am stuck. You can access it right from the pause screen. It allows you to drop green diamond checkpoints as you play. If you hit a spike, you will respawn at your last checkpoint instead of the very beginning. It is the smartest way to learn tricky portal transitions before you try a normal run.
