What Is Harvest Simulator All About?

Harvest Simulator is a casual farming and resource management game. You start with a massive field and a basic harvesting machine. Your job is simple. You drive over crops to cut them down. Then, you drop them off at the barn for cash. You use that cash to upgrade your machine. It is a very satisfying gameplay loop.

If you enjoy building and managing resources like in The Final Earth 2, you will absolutely love the relaxing grind here. There is no stress, just pure farming fun.

How to Play Harvest Simulator?

The gameplay is very straightforward. You do not need a heavy tutorial to get started. You just start your engine and drive. The harvester automatically cuts the crops as you run over them.

You need to keep an eye on the cargo bar on the right side of your screen. When it gets completely full, a white arrow appears on the ground. Follow that arrow back to the red barn. Drive into the drop-off zone to empty your truck and earn your money.

Control Keys

The controls are very easy to learn. Here is what you need to know to drive your machine:

• Arrow Keys or WASD: Drive and steer your harvester around the field.
• M Key: Mute or unmute the background sound.
• E Key: Change the camera angle.

Gamer Tip: I highly recommend playing with the camera angles. Switching to a higher view helps you see the missed patches of wheat or sunflowers easily!

Upgrade Your Harvester

This is my favorite part of the game. Next to the red barn, you will see a purple building with an Upgrades sign. Drive your harvester into that zone to open the upgrade menu. You can spend your cash on three main things:

• Harvester Width: This makes your front blades wider. You can cut a lot more crops in a single pass.
• Cargo Capacity: This lets your truck hold more crops. You won't have to drive back to the barn so often.
• Movement Speed: This makes your machine drive much faster.

I usually spend my first few bucks on speed. It makes moving between the sunflower field and the barn much less tedious. Everything costs 20 cash at Level 1, so choose wisely!
